We, the people of St. Gabriel, remember and honor the Indigenous people of the world, especially the Tualatin Kalapuya people, the traditional custodians of the land on which we now worship. We give thanks for them and their continuing contributions to the life of this region.

We strive to learn from our past mistakes and be instruments of justice and peace for all people in today’s world, particularly the original Indigenous inhabitants.
